Hey Reader,
I'm excited to bring you two new events, a Fan Giveaway and a Free Romance Book Blast Event, plus this month's Game Night coming up. Also, my coming book-in-progress and a note on an upcoming writer's conference if you're an author.
🪭Prizes include: Print editions of The Siren of Sussex by Mimi Matthews, A Lady’s Guide To Fortune Hunting by Sophie Irwin, Forever Beautiful by Suzette D. Harrison, When Calls The Heart by Janette Oke, The Lost Heiress by Roseanna M. White, and Mr. Malcom’s List by Suzanna Allain.
PLUS! A floral tote bag, Jane Austen sticky notes, Reading Time candle, Bookish mug, and English tea!
Enter today and follow more authors for more entries. Also, get entries by inviting your friends!
I know nearly ever author included in this Giveaway. You can help support these low- and no-heat authors by following them and subscribing to their newsletters, like mine! And, of course, if you find their newsletter is not a blessing to you, you can always unsubscribe. But we hope you won't!
Ready for a new Romance read? One day only! July 22, 2025. Load your reader with free e-books. Sorted by genre. (Beware: This event features all genres, some of which you may not want to read. So pay attention to which tabs you're clicking.)
Find new authors. Get new reads in your favorite genres.
Find mine, Audrey's Search, by clicking the "Sweet & No Spice" tab. Scroll down OR use "Search" (that's Ctrl F on a PC, Command F on a Mac) to search for "Audrey."
Audrey's Search will be free that day (and maybe a day before and after, too).
Don't worry about remembering. I'll send out a newsletter on July 22 to remind you.
I'm already working on my next two books coming this fall. I had so much to tell you in this letter I had to rush getting it ready, so I'll tell you more about a coming book next time.
I can tell you the story is making me laugh, so I hope you'll laugh as well when you read it!
(And if you're not an author, please excuse us who are while we talk shop for just a minute. Skip to the next section if you're not interested.)
If you'd like to attend a writer's conference from the comfort of your home, I can highly recommend the Write His Answer conference.
I attended the Colorado Christian Writer's Conference for an embarrassingly-long number of years. (Three decades and counting!) This is where I gained the foundation I needed to write for magazines, get published in books, and discover writing screenplays. I return year after year to continue my education, to keep up on trends, and to keep my contacts and industry relationships fresh.
During covid, the director, Marlene Bagnull, combined her Colorado conference and her Philadelphia conference into one, the Write His Answer conference, and moved them online so anyone could attend from anywhere. No travel costs. No lost time traveling. No room and board expenses. You can gain the education, information, and inspiration you need to get published at this conference, right from home.
I cannot recommend the Write His Answer conference enough. Still the best value around at a low cost. If you're a writer or author, of if you've ever thought you'd like to be, check it out today. Register soon!
This month's Game Night will be in Amy Walsh's Facebook group, Wisdom, Whimsy, and Wordsmithing on Wednesday, July 30. Now there's a bunch of W's!
Stop by between 4:00 and 7:00 PM EASTERN time to play some games, get recipes and ideas for fun snacks, and meet some authors and their books.
I will be hosting from 5:15-5:30 Eastern (that's 3:15-3:30 Mountain time). I hope you'll join us and have some fun. You'll have to join Amy's Facebook group to attend, so do that in advance.
I hope to see you there!
My friends and I are making plans to continue offering a 99¢ book on the first of every month.
I'll see you again next week.
F. Tilly

Fiction Newsletter of F. Tilly Brownne May 27, 2025 Hey Reader, Did you do something special this past Memorial Day? My family hung the flag out, as we do on all patriotic holidays, and put steaks on the barbecue. I bought some store-made potato salad this year because 1. I didn't have time to make home-made potato salad and 2. I had a coupon. LOL. We also had corn on the cob. A yummy meal. We did not get to the cemeteries to decorate graves this Memorial Day (formerly known as Decoration...
